Academic career Graduated in Law (2002), with a final global mark of 17/20, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and Master (LLM) in Commercial and Company Law, with a final mark of 18/20, from the same Faculty (2006). Awarded with academic prizes in 2001 (Criminal Law) and 2002 (Civil Law). Professional career Taught at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra since 2002 until 2013 (including Commercial Contract Law, Company Law and Public Finance), when he moved to Macau to join a Law Firm. Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association since 2005; worked with several renowned Law firms in Portugal, including as a Legal Consultant/Of Counsel and as a Founding Partner (Contract Law, Company Law, Arbitration). Published on numerous topics (Portugal and Macau) of Civil Law, Contract Law, Commercial Law, Company Law and Public Finance and was a thesis advisor in various Master Graduations in the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. Issued several Legal Opinions addressed to Portuguese and Macau higher Courts with some of the most reputable Legal Consultants and Law Professors in Portugal; quoted in several Court decisions of the Portuguese Supreme Court (S.T.J.) and quoted by T.U.I. (Macau’s Supreme Court). Member of the national Jury for selecting Portuguese Judges in 2012. Speaker in several conferences in Portugal and Macau (including conferences held, in 2017, by the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau).
