Lectures 2006-present: Thermodynamics(for undergraduate students) 2011-present: Advanced quantum mechanics(for graduate students) 2011-present: Fundamentals of strong field physics(for graduate students) 2006-2011: Fundamentals of quantum many-body theory(for graduate students) 2014: Complex functions and integral transforms(for undergraduate students) Eductaion 1993: B.A., Department of Physics, Jinlin University 1995: M.A., Department of Physics II, Fudan University 1998: Ph.D., Institute of Modern Physics, Fudan University Biograpy Born in 1970, Professor Wang obtained his Ph.D. degree from Fudan University in 1998. His research is focused upon strong field physics and theoretical condensed matter physics. Various topics in these fields have been investigated in the past more than two decades. Firstly, in the end of last century, through numerical simulation, Professor Wang found the clear envidences for the breakdown of the long-standing Lawson-Woodward theorem, which has paved the way for the next study of free electron acceleration by intense lasers in vacuum. Since then, he has put forward various free electron acceleration schemes, among which the electron capture acceleration by extra intense laser fields has attracted wide attention in this field and has induced a lot of related work. Later on, he switched to quantum phase transition study in Hubbard model and Frenkel-Kontorova model when he had his postdoctoral researches in Purdue University and in Hongkong Baptist University, respectively. Since 2006, he has had his professorship in East China Normal University until now. In these years, his main work is to explore various nonperturbative quantum effects of free electrons in strong laser fields, such as vacuum polarization and electron-positron production induced by extra-intense laser fields, nonlinear Compton scattering based high harmonic generation from free electron/intense laser interaction, laser loading upon solids and so on. Currently, the relativistic atomic stability in strong high-frequency laser fields is Professor Wang's most conerned subject. All his present work is supported by China National Science Foundation.
