HuiLiwasborninHeilongjiangprovince,China.ShereceivedtheB.E.degreeinopticalengineeringfromTianjinUniversity(TJU),China,in2007andPh.DdegreeinelectricalengineeringfromtheRoyalInstituteofTechnology(KTH),Sweden,in2012.SheiscurrentlyanassociateprofessoratDalianUniversityofTechnology.

In2010,shewasawardedtheEMECW(ErasmusMundusExternalCooperationWindow)scholarshipandvisitedtheDepartmentofElectricalandInformationTechnologyatLundUniversityfor13months.In2011,shereceivedthescholarshipfromCSC(ChineseScholarshipCouncil)scholarshipforherPh.D.studyinKTH.HercurrentresearchinterestsincludecompactantennasinMIMOsystems,theoryofcharacteristicmode,antenna-userinteractions,reconfigurableantennas,andRFIDantennasinwirelesscommunications.
