MadhavaMeegaskumburahasformedmyresearchgroupatGuangxiUniversity(http://www.ecoevodevo.org)tostudytheinterfacesbetweenecology,evolutionanddevelopment,whichprovidesexcitingnewopportunitiestoconservebiodiversity.ThroughmyPh.D.(BostonUniversity,USA),andpostdoctoralresearch(HarvardUniversity,USA)aswellas7yearsasafacultymemberinhighereducation,Ihavedevelopedexpertisetousemultipleapproachesforinvestigatingtherise,maintenanceanddemiseofnewlineages.Myresearchhassofarresulted60peer-reviewedpublicationswhichincludesthreepaperspublishedinSCIENCEandthediscoveryof60newspecies(amphibians,fishandamammal)and5genera(twogeneraoffrogs,andthreegeneraoffish).Myinternationalleadershipandcontributiontoconservationcomesfrommyvolunteerserviceasaco-chairmanoftheAmphibianSpecialistGroupSriLankaundertheSpeciesSurvivalCommissionofIUCN.IamalsoamemberoftheIUCN'sAmphibianRedlistingAuthority,whichspearheadsglobalconservationeffortstopreserveamphibians.主讲课程EvolutionaryEcology主持（或参与）的主要科研项目1.2012-2015NationalResearchCouncilSriLanka(37,857USD) 2.2016-2017NationalScienceFoundationSriLanka(21.148USB)
