Devendra Bisht, male, was born in India, Uttarakhand state on 13 November 1987. In 2007, he obtained a bachelor's degree in physics from Kumaun University Nainital, India. In 2009 he obtained a master's degree in physics from Kumaun University Nainital, India. In 2016 he received a Ph.D degree in physics (Astrophysics) from Kumaun University Nainital, India. He was a postdoctoral fellow in Physical Research Laboratory Ahmadabad, India during 4 May 2016 to 3 November 2017. Since 1st January 2018, he has been a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Science and Technology of China. He is mainly engaged in multi wavelength studies on open star clusters.
