JF Marckert is Visiting Professor at NYU Shanghai. He is also research director at France's National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Professor Marckert’s research interests are mainly probability theory and combinatorics. His work has appeared in Annals of Probability, Random Structures and Algorithms, and many other journals. Many of his publications concern limit theorems in probability. He also investigates combinatorics and random geometry. Professor Marckert is at Bordeaux, the head of the Combinatorics and Algorithms team in the computer science department.
